An opportunity to work with Australia’s most technologically advanced marine repairs, maintenance and refit facility. The facility has the capacity to accommodate vessels from small pleasure craft to 55m Superyachts at its brand new harbour site on the fringe of the city. The purpose built marine precinct houses a marine industry cluster comprised of some of Australia’s leading marine contractors.

Depending on your level of experience, the Shipwright Tradesperson or the General Hand will conduct various repairs, maintenance and painting tasks on all types of vessels across a broad range of construction materials. You will be using the very latest technology and operating lifting and mechanical equipment appropriate to your skill level. You will be supervised by an experienced mentor.

You will have the appropriate engineering trade certificate or equivalent and, ideally, exposure to a marine engineering environment.
